HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LASH EXTENSIONS
To keep your lash extensions looking beautiful for as long as possible, please follow these aftercare recommendations:
Cleanse and brush your lashes daily Use a lash extension-safe cleanser to gently wash your lashes every day. Clean lashes retain better and help prevent the build-up of oils, makeup and debris. Allow them to dry completely, then gently brush them with a clean lash brush to keep them neat and fluffy. We do not recommend brushing your lashes while they are wet.
Sleep carefully
Try to sleep on your back or side whenever possible. Sleeping face down can cause unnecessary friction and may affect the retention and appearance of your lash extensions. We also do not recommend using a sleep mask, as it can rub against your lashes and may lead to premature shedding or distortion of the extensions.
Avoid mascara and eyelash curlers Mascara can be difficult to remove from extensions and may damage them. Eyelash curlers can bend, weaken or break both the extensions and your natural lashes.
Keep oil-based products away from the eye area Oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, creams and serums can weaken the adhesive bond and cause lash extensions to shed prematurely.
Do not rub, pick, or pull your lashes
Avoid touching your lashes unnecessarily. Pulling or picking at extensions may damage your natural lashes and reduce retention. If your extensions are bothering you or you feel tempted to remove them, we recommend contacting your lash technician for a safe and professional removal.
Book regular infill appointments Lash extensions naturally shed with your natural lash cycle. Regular infill appointments will help maintain a full, fresh, and beautiful lash look while also supporting the health of your natural lashes by ensuring proper lash growth and preventing overgrown extensions from placing unnecessary stress on them.
